What a better way to usher in the holidays than to throw a trunk show? Essie Collection hit the road and headed north to Hidden Hills, CA a charming and idyllic community nestled in the countryside of Calabasas. Susan Campbell Cross was our gracious host and opened up her newly renovated home for the event. For those of you who don't know Susan, she is an accomplished writer, T.V. personality, lifestyle expert and mom of three who just published her first book "FabYOUList- List it, Live it, Love Your Life."
Susan's house was the perfect venue on this fine December day when temperatures hit a balmy 70 degrees! While sipping lemonade and noshing on marshmallow cupcakes, we set up our goods and waited for the shopping to begin. What made this trunk show special, especially during the holiday season was that a percentage of sales were donated to ACT Today! ACT Today! stands for Autism Care and Treatment Today! is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and provide treatment services and support to families to help their children with autism achieve their full potential. Their goal is to introduce and help facilitate early and on-going treatment by providing the necessary resources to individuals with autism and their families.
Between the wonderful women, charitable donations, and festive spirit, the trunk show was a hit! The house looked beautiful and the attendees picked up great gifts for the holidays including Essie Collection jewelry, scarves and home accents.
